Mid-weight Designer

Location: Chancery Lane (EC4Y 0HA), hybrid working 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home/another location

At Premier Inn, we're looking for a Mid-weight Designer to join our in-house Brand Studio and help shape the digital experiences seen by millions of customers across our website, app, CRM communications and digital marketing channels. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on one of the UK's most recognised consumer brands, combining creativity with customer-focused design thinking.

What you'll be doing

You will be working closely with colleagues across Brand Marketing, Ecommerce, Product, UX and CRM, turning briefs into compelling digital experiences that support both customer needs and commercial goals. You will also play a key role in bringing the Premier Inn brand to life across every digital touchpoint, from wireframes and landing pages to app experiences, web banners and campaign assets.

We work with an established design system and apply strong UI principles, mobile-first thinking and accessibility best practices to create seamless customer journeys. Collaboration in our business is really important and working with stakeholders to present your ideas, explain your design rationale and continuously improve performance through insight-led design and optimisation is vital.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a designer with experience creating web and mobile experiences, rather than someone focused primarily on print or traditional graphic design.

  • Strong UI and web design skills
  • Experience designing responsive, mobile-first digital experiences
  • Expertise using Figma and modern design tools
  • Experience creating wireframes, landing pages and customer journeys
  • A solid understanding of UX, accessibility and conversion optimisation
  • The ability to balance creativity with commercial objectives
