External Comms – PR Exec – Houghton Regis Job Title: Communications executive Join our vibrant communications team and help us become Europe’s best-loved hotel company! You\’ll support PR campaigns, craft press releases, manage media enquiries, uncover great stories, and use social media insights to enhance our reputation. This varied role includes collaborating across Premier Inn, hub hotels, and restaurant brands, plus occasional events, reporting, and administrative tasks. You’ll also be part of the 24/7 on-call rota (1–2 weeks per month). Salary: £30,000 + 10% company performance bonus Location: London or Dunstable and a hybrid way of working with a minimum of 3 days a week in the office. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting tasks, including: PR Campaign Delivery : Contributing to campaign planning and attending events like content capture days. Storytelling : Discovering stories across the business, such as those from our Force for Good programme, and tailoring them for different audiences. Press Releases : Researching, writing, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure our key messages are effectively communicated. Activity Reporting : Preparing campaign summaries and monthly reports to showcase our PR efforts. Social Media Insights : Using monitoring tools to understand real-time guest conversations and occasionally generating story ideas. What You Will Need: Essential: Ability and willingness to travel as needed. Content capture skills, such as filming and editing videos. Outstanding people skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business and with external stakeholders. Good understanding of social media channels. Interest in current affairs and the news agenda. Understanding of the need for discretion in handling sensitive issues.
