We are recruiting for a forward-thinking service business with a strong commitment to their customers and staff. Having doubled turnover in the last couple of years, they are growing rapidly and can offer excellent growth potential in this role. As part of their ongoing growth, we are now seeking a talented Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic Manchester team. This role is ideal for a driven finance professional who enjoys working at pace, solving complex challenges, and providing the financial insight that drives strong strategic decision-making.
Role- Lead a small finance team, ensuring accounts are completed accurately and on time.
- Business partnering with senior Directors – managing revenue streams, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
- Financial modelling for future.
- Leading monthly forecast meetings, reviewing budgets and presenting to the SLT.
- Project work – involvement & finance lead on a number of process/improvement & efficiency projects whilst also implementing new AI functions & tech to advance business processes.
- Oversee cash management, including supplier payments, customer collections, bank reconciliations, and weekly cash flow forecasting.
- Maintain expenditure records and accurately code invoices.
- Perform month-end reviews and prepare group management accounts, providing detailed analysis and recommendations.
- Prepare and review quarterly VAT returns.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and year-end accounts, managing the audit process.
- Pro-active, confident & able to deal with senior non-finance stakeholders daily.
- Challenging the status quo, exploring new ways of working and process improvement mindset.
