Whitaker Smith are exclusively partnering with a growing manufacturing business to recruit a Management Accountant into a newly evolving finance team. This is far more than a traditional management accounts role. The business is investing heavily in growth, automation, systems and international expansion, creating a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to accelerate their career.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll gain exposure across management accounting, reporting, budgeting, business partnering, systems improvements and international entities. You'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact rather than simply maintain existing processes.

Role
  • Production of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Producing meaningful management information and performance reporting
  • Analysing overheads, costs and business performance
  • Assisting with reporting for international operations
  • Supporting ongoing systems and automation projects
  • Working closely with operational stakeholders across the business
  • Identifying process improvements and helping drive efficiencies within finance
  • Supporting the continued development of Power BI reporting and data analysis
Experience
  • ACCA/CIMA studying/finalist with a desire to qualify in future
  • Ambitious and proactive finance professional who enjoys getting involved, improving processes and adding value beyond the numbers.
  • Experience producing management accounts
  • Manufacturing experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Strong Excel skills and an analytical mindset
