Our client is an entrepreneurial start-up business growing quickly and looking for additional support to their CFO. This role is truly exciting for the right person and can offer excellent exposure to senior stakeholders, commercial activity and progression for the future.
We are looking for an ambitious Accountant who has a desire to become qualified in future. You must have the capabilities to work autonomously with this role being remote with travel to the Manchester office 2-3 times a month (you MUST be based in the North West to be considered).
Role:- Producing monthly management accounts, overseeing month end process for SME
- Working with MD/Directors on commercial finance activity
- Overseeing balance sheet, P&L and assisting with budgets/forecasts
- Overseeing debtors/creditors ensuring invoices are sent timely & debt chased
- Supported by a bookkeeper ensuring all transactions are correct
- Working with CFO on numerous projects regarding updating processes/procedures internally
- Studying ACCA/CIMA/ACA essential with a desire to qualify
- Experience producing management accounts - essential
- Experience from within an SME & hands on environment is essential - this role will be strategic and hands on mix
- Practice OR industry experience will be considered
