Management Accountant
Package: circa £40k + study (if desired) + benefits + bonus.
Location: Bacup / East Lancs area
We are working with a growing, exciting business looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join in a newly created role. This position will support the Financial Controller & FD with providing timely and relevant financial information including full management accounts production. We are looking for someone who is keen to take responsibility and develop in the role
Role:
- Producing month end managemnt accounts
- Maintaining fixed asset registers
- Reconciliation of intercompany balances, overseeing multiple entities finances
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Provide support with the Annual Audit
- Conduct margin analysis, ROI and KPI reporting – business partnering within the company
- Assist in the annual budgets & forecasting process including cash flow forecasting
- Review of Balance Sheet Accounts & reconciliatio
- Continuous improvement of systems & processes as the business grows
Experience:
- Part qualified OR QBE with experience of management accounts
- Strong Excel skills required
- Multi-site business experience beneficial but not essential
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Experience of budgeting and cash flow forecasting desireable
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
