We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimise our Warehouse and Dispatch operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing logistics processes, ensuring efficient pick and packing, warehousing, and materials handling. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and materials handling.
- Lead and organise teams of people.
- Oversee KPI targets and attend management meetings.
- Oversee category management to optimise inventory levels and reduce costs.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency across the supply chain.
- Coordinate teams of staff, to ensure smooth processes and getting customer orders out the door efficiently.
- Supervise materials handling activities, including the operation of forklifts and other equipment, ensuring safety standards are maintained.
- Oversee Warehouse and Pick and Pack teams, ensuring KPIs are met and stuck to.
- Analyse logistical data to identify trends, forecast needs, and support strategic decision-making.
- Lead shipping & receiving operations, ensuring accuracy in picking & packing processes.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
- Hire and Train staff members and carry out performance reviews.
Experience
- Proven experience in logistics management or supply chain operations within a warehouse setting.
- Strong knowledge of category management, process optimisation, and warehouse best practices.
- Experience picking, packing and shipping procedures, and materials handling equipment including forklifts.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes through innovative solutions and data-driven decision making.
- Previous experience in warehouse environments involving picking & packing activities is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills combined with the ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced setting.
