We are recruiting an experienced Telesales Team Leader to join a fast-paced sales environment. This is a key leadership role focused on driving telesales performance, appointment generation, KPI achievement and team development within a high-volume inbound and outbound sales operation.

About the Role
- Lead and support a Telesales Team focused on converting inbound and outbound enquiries into qualified appointments for the New Business team.
- You’ll drive daily performance, support operational delivery, and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a telesales team within a high-volume sales environment.
- Drive team performance to deliver consistent, high-quality appointment generation.
- Coach, develop and support individuals through ongoing performance management.
- Set, monitor and deliver KPIs and sales targets in line with business objectives.
- Monitor performance trends, identify gaps, and implement improvements.
- Support lead generation activity and ensure accurate qualification of opportunities.
- Maximise CRM usage for accurate data, tracking and reporting.
- Provide clear performance updates and insights to stakeholders.
- Support process improvement and operational efficiency across the team.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new starters.
- Manage resource planning and attendance to ensure adequate team cover.
- Maintain product and industry knowledge to support team performance.

Requirements
- Proven experience in a team leadership or supervisory role.
- Ability to manage, motivate and develop a team to achieve performance targets.
- Experience in coaching individuals to improve performance and results.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt style for different audiences.
- Ability to prioritise, organise and manage multiple workloads effectively.
- Confident influencing skills at the colleague and stakeholder level.
- Strong relationship-building skills across internal teams and clients.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
- Competent in using CRM systems and MS Office (experience with WCMS and MaxContact desirable).
- Knowledge of the postal, parcel or fulfilment industry is advantageous.
