We’re looking for an experienced Question Researcher and/or Assistant Producer to join the Whisper North team for the returning ITV daytime quiz, Riddiculous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Questions team
  • Supporting the questions team with researching and writing questions for various games
  • Ensuring that questions fit with the programme’s ethos
  • Fact-checking
  • Anticipating the needs of Producers and supporting the management of the Question Researcher
  • Preparing questions and riddles for the gameplay team and presenters in the studio

Please note that responsibilities may be amended, added to, or removed to reflect changing needs.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working on game shows, ideally in a question assistant producer role
  • Experience in writing questions for a variety of game shows
  • Experience in fact-checking
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong team ethic and ability to prioritise workloads, working in a pressurised environment
  • Ability to work effectively with others and manage relationships in a diverse team
  • Ability to manage workload remotely and adapt to changing systems and technologies
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads, new systems, and technologies

Location

Whisper Offices, Salford. Remote working may be considered.

Working Days

Five-day work week: four days in the office and one day working from home. Some flexibility and occasional weekend work may be required depending on production needs. Lieu days will be given for any additional days worked. Flexitime is available, subject to production requirements.

Start Date

29th June 2026 – 21st August 2026
10th August 2026 – 9th October 2026
17th August 2026 – 9th October 2026

Salary: Dependent on experience.
