Experienced CNC Machinist (Milling) Responsibilities To set and operate machines with correct tooling and programming. Assist with the development of efficient manufacturing practices To always adhere to Health and Safety regulations To fully adhere to the AS9100:2016 Rev D To escalate any job related/customer concerns to Production Manager To complete visual and dimensional inspections of completed parts To maintain and secure work tools. To maintain work area to high standard, ensuring all tooling, fixtures, vices and machine tools are in their correct places To ensure working area is kept clean, oils cleaned from floor immediately and swarf and filters emptied each day To complete other duties assigned to help meet customer lead times and quality To read and accurately interpret Engineering drawings Requirements Knowledge and Skills Excellent all-round understanding of machining and tooling strategies Experience in a similar CNC Machining role. Able to read and understand engineering drawings. Experience of fault finding. Personal Skills Ability to work on own initiative, and as part of a small focused team working to high standards with customer lead times and quality the delivery driver Flexible working practices Ability to operate machines with minimum supervision Conscientious with a strong work ethic and ability to lead by example A positive attitude towards work, colleagues and customers Excellent written and verbal communication Self-motivator/starter A genuine and enthusiastic interest in Engineering Qualifications Reading, writing and arithmetic skills to GCSE level or above NVQ Level 3 CNC Machining or above Minimum 3 years experience working in a mechanical engineering environment Reward: Competitive salary 39 hours per week (Day Shift) Free on-site car parking Well-being Health Plan included 28 days annual leave, increasing after 5 years of service TPBN1_NI
