We\’re now looking for a
Whisky Ambassador & E-Commerce Manager
to host our whisky tastings and manage our successful Shopify online stores. This is a full-time position combining hospitality, whisky education, and online retail management. Once fully trained, you will be a Whisky Ambassador for the company, hosting tastings, training other staff on whisky when required and guiding customer choices.
You need to be comfortable with people and good with sales. Training will be given where required but whisky knowledge and passion are essential as are IT skills and a sense of fun. When not doing tastings or managing the ecommerce stores, you will be working in the bar and restaurant as part of the front of house team – this is an interesting and varied role.

Key Responsibilities
- Host engaging whisky tastings, bringing Scotland\’s spirit to life through great storytelling
- Share your whisky knowledge and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Manage and update our Shopify webshops with new products, stock control, and SEO-friendly listings
- Process and post online orders promptly.
- Create social media and email content to promote tastings and retail offers.
- Liaise with suppliers and support the marketing team with campaigns.
- Assist with bar or retail operations when required.
What We\’re Looking For
- Confident communicator with a passion for Scotch whisky.
- Knowledgeable about whisky styles, distilleries, and Scottish heritage (training can be provided)
- Experience with Shopify, hospitality, or e-commerce preferred.
- Organised, creative, and detail-oriented with a good eye for photography, social media, and presentation.
- Comfortable working weekends
- Background in hospitality, retail, or marketing is a bonus
- Friendly, engaging, and customer-focused.
