Im recruiting for talented Sous chef to come and join this lovely gastro pub group based in Knightsbridge.
Salary- Base of £36,000 plus 9k Tronc and quarterly KPI bonuses.
My client is a fantastic independent gastro pub company operating across London, offering the very best in seasonal British cuisine in a smart-casual environment using great ingredients and a focus on simple excellent food.
The Sous Chef:
- Currently a Sous Chef helping to lead a team in a quality fresh food site, preferably at a Gastro or a restaurant with a focus on British seasonal food.
- Be a chef happy turning out a perfect core menu, whilst also keeping an interesting specials board and Theme days.
- Leadership skills to be able to inspire and drive a kitchen team by example with attention to detail and the ability to organise and manage workload effectively.
- Comfortable working in a small team.
- Experience working within margins and costings to run a profitable business but with a creative brain to come up with new dishes within budget.
- A solid understanding of all UK food hygiene, health and safety, fire safety and employment laws.
- Wants to be part of an exciting group of Gastro Pubs that strive to produce quality British food.
