Salary: Base of £48,000 plus service charge 5-7k, yearly KPI Bonus 1-2k and Medical Cover

A busy 5* London hotel is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to help lead its culinary operations and drive the Restaurant kitchen overseeing multi food outlets from one kitchen. This is opportunity for a strong and stable senior/sous chef to help lead and inspire the brigade.
The position will suit a restaurant senior sous or sous chef stepping up from busy leading kitchens cooking seasonal British food to a minimum of 1/2AA rosette standards.
The Role
- Assist in all culinary operations alongside the Hotel Executive and Head chef and management team, including the restaurants, bar snacks and room service. (No Events)
- Deliver high-quality seasonal British cuisine.
- Ensure consistency and excellence across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service averaging 200-400 covers per day
- Assist developing menus, food specs and photos, enhance the food presentation, and bring a fresh, creative approach to the kitchen.
- Maintain the hotel's standard, ensuring the highest level of quality and service.
- Build and develop a strong, motivated team with a positive kitchen culture.
The Ideal Senior Sous Chef
- Proven and stable experience as Senior/Sous from high quality busy restaurants at rosette standards
- Strong leadership and team-building skills to inspire and develop chefs at all levels.
- Extensive knowledge of British cuisine and seasonal ingredients.
- Excellent menu development abilities, with a creative and dynamic approach.
- Ability to manage cost control, supplier relationships, and kitchen operations efficiently
