Shifts: 2 singles and 3 doubles to start with 90 cover restaurant. Closed Monday and Tuesday and Sunday evenings.
Role Overview
- The Chef de Partie is responsible for running a designated section of the kitchen with precision, consistency, and culinary integrity.
- You will work closely with the senior kitchen team to uphold the restaurant's standards while mentoring junior colleagues and continually developing your own technical skill set.
- Oversee daily preparation and cooking within your section, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Execute authentic recipes with accuracy and care and be open to new cuisine and flavours.
- Manage mise en place, service flow, and plating within your responsibility area.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, seasoning, and portion control.
- Uphold full food safety, hygiene, and allergen compliance.
- Monitor and maintain section stock levels, storage, and labelling.
- Minimise waste and contribute to efficient cost control.
- Collaborate with peers and senior chefs to refine dishes and develop new menu elements.
- Demonstrate professionalism, precision, and pride in every service.
