We are looking to appoint a passionate, motivated, and committed Progress Hub Leader to lead on our achievement provision for pupils who are temporarily unable to attend normal lessons due to SEND or other circumstances. The role is based at Whickham, a comprehensive inclusive school that achieves high outcomes for all pupils.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Progress Hub provision, ensuring pupils have the support to complete their learning.
- Provide targeted support and interventions for students at risk of underachieving, using effective learning strategies and ICT skills.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff across the school to support pupil progress.
- Maintain safeguarding, inclusion and high standards to improve outcomes and life chances for all students.
- Manage the resources and environment of the Progress Hub, keeping it a calm and productive space.
Qualifications
- Qualified to Level 3 or above.
- Experience working with young people.
- Willingness to continue learning and developing professionally.
- Strong understanding of barriers some students face in education and how to overcome them.
