We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging English teacher to deliver creative and adaptive tutoring to individual learners, both in school and remotely via MS Teams. The ideal candidate will build rapport quickly, maintain high expectations and focus relentlessly on student progress.
Who You Are
- Holds QTS (or will do by September 2026)
- Can teach confidently across KS3-KS4
- Understands that great teaching is about relationships, high expectations, and relentless focus on progress
- Is a team player prepared to contribute to the wider aspects of teaching at Whickham
Working Conditions
Currently tutoring takes place in school and over MS Teams during the afternoons and evenings, with potential for some daytime tuition.
