We’re offering a fantastic opportunity for you to become our next Apprentice Electrician. You’ll earn whilst you learn and gain practical, hands-on experience whilst studying for a Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician apprenticeship.
Main responsibilities:
- You will assist the Electrical Team in a wide range of electrical duties such as installation, maintenance, testing and inspection.
- You will work both in empty and tenanted properties and deliver excellent customer service while working efficiently and ensuring all legislative and Health & Safety requirements are met.
- You will diligently complete all associated paperwork, follow risk assessments and method statements, and assist in ordering materials from stores.
- You will use a handheld device and a range of IT systems to receive and complete all elements of works.
- You will be expected to attend college as required and complete any associated coursework to successfully complete a Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician Apprenticeship.
What we’re looking for:
- A commitment to undertaking a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
- A Grade 4 or above in Maths and English (Level 2 / GCSE grade C or above, or equivalent – or predicted to have) or be willing to undertake Level 2 Maths and English functional skills alongside your apprenticeship.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to use a range of IT systems.
- A strong work ethic, the ability to work well under pressure and balance the demands of study and work, and the ability to use your own initiative but also to take feedback and listen.
