Are you a Senior Electrical Engineer looking for the opportunity to lead innovative design projects in the oil and gas and petrochemical sectors?
Flexible working – choose between a 40 or 37‑hour working week, with flexibility around core office hours (Monday to Thursday 10am‑3pm and Friday 9am‑1pm).
Hybrid working – following an initial familiarisation period, employees can work two days per week from home, with further flexibility considered based on individual circumstances.

The role – leading electrical engineering delivery across complex projects.
Responsibilities- Lead and mentor electrical engineers and designers, ensuring high standards of technical delivery.
- Oversee the development and selection of electrical systems, including control and distribution schemes.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed to schedule and within budget.
- Prepare, review and maintain electrical engineering design documentation.
- Evaluate vendor documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Manage electrical engineering activities within Project Management Consultancy (PMC) projects.
- Support bid development through the preparation of man‑hour estimates and material take‑offs.
- Carry out engineering analysis, design specification work and procedural development to support successful project delivery.
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
- Extensive experience within the oil and gas or petrochemical sectors.
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as PTW, Trimble, DIALux and StrikeRisk.
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards and best practice.
- Experience working with overseas clients and external design houses.
- Proven experience in a Senior or Lead Electrical Engineer position, with demonstrable technical leadership and problem‑solving ability.
