Status: Part Time

As the Lead Counsellor at Care Fertility, you’ll be a leader and provide support to our counsellors, making sure they’re approachable, empathetic, understanding, patient, non-judgmental and open-minded. You will ensure that our patients receive the highest levels of care and support.

You’ll also work closely with the Booking Coordinator to ensure that the Counsellors\’ diaries are booked correctly.

As the Lead Counsellor, you’ll undertake appraisals for your team, ensuring they have the right knowledge and personal development to excel in their roles.

You must be a professionally trained and qualified counsellor with at least a foundation degree or diploma level and registered with an approved professional body (e.g., BACP). You should also be accredited under the scheme of the British Infertility Counselling Association (or an equivalent body), or show evidence of working towards such accreditation.

Leadership experience and knowledge to contribute to the assessment of the welfare of the child are essential. Experience working with couples, infertility, and loss is desirable.

Location/Benefits:

This is a part-time role working 15 hours per week, in a hybrid model. Travel will be required as you’ll be visiting other clinics in our group.
