About the role

Customer Success is central to how we build, grow, and deliver value at Attio. As a Named Customer Success Manager, you'll own a portfolio of our highest-potential customers, building deep relationships and helping them get meaningful value from Attio as their businesses grow. Attio has a highly product-led customer base, and many of our most promising customers start as small, fast-growing teams. Success in this role isn't defined by customer size or current spend alone. You'll need to recognize potential early, understand where a customer's business is headed, and help them build the right foundations to scale with Attio. This is a highly consultative and hands-on role. You'll understand each customer's GTM motion, uncover what they're trying to achieve, and translate their business needs into thoughtful recommendations across their workflows, data, and use of Attio. You'll work with fast-moving customers who expect you to bring both strategic thinking and strong product expertise.

What you'll do

  • Own and develop relationships across a portfolio of high-potential customers.
  • Lead customers through onboarding, adoption, ongoing value realization, renewals, and expansion.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business, GTM motion, goals, and challenges.
  • Identify potential early within a product-led customer base and help customers deepen their adoption as they grow.
  • Advise customers on how to structure their workflows, processes, and use of Attio to support their business.
  • Balance strategic relationship management with hands-on solutioning, moving comfortably between business goals and product configuration.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across customer organizations and become a trusted partner as their businesses evolve.
  • Use customer data, product insights, and business context to identify risks and opportunities across your portfolio.
  • Identify opportunities for deeper adoption and expansion based on customer needs and growth.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, RevOps, Solutions Engineering, Support, and Sales to solve customer problems and continuously improve the customer experience.
  • Bring customer insights back into Attio to help shape our product and Customer Success motion.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including 3+ years in Customer Success or Account Management.
  • Experience owning customer relationships in B2B software, ideally across SMB and mid-market customers in a product-led environment.
  • A consultative approach and ability to understand a customer's business before jumping to a solution.
  • Strong product instincts and a track record of coaching customers on how to get the most out of a complex software product.
  • Comfort working hands-on with customers to solve problems rather than relying heavily on separate technical or implementation teams.
  • Experience owning customer outcomes across adoption, retention, renewals, and expansion.
  • Strong commercial instincts and an ability to recognize customer potential beyond current spend or company size.
  • Comfort working with fast-growing companies and lean teams where priorities and needs can change quickly.
  • A data-driven approach to prioritizing your portfolio, identifying risk, and uncovering opportunities.
  • Experience working at an early- or growth-stage startup.
  • A proactive mindset and comfort operating with autonomy in a fast-moving environment.
