We’re looking for a Deployment Manager to lead the planning, execution, and oversight of WYA network deployments at live events and festivals. This is a hands‑on, dynamic role - you’ll manage everything from pre‑event planning to on‑site setup, working closely with clients and internal teams.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and coordinate deployments: maps, inventory, risk assessments, logistics, and client engagement.
- Lead on‑site operations: hardware installation, network optimisation, takedown, and real‑time problem solving.
- Provide feedback to product and engineering teams for continuous improvement.
- Develop deployment documentation and tools for future scalability.
Who You Are
- Experienced in network hardware, radio systems, IoT, BLE, or similar wireless tech.
- Background in technical or engineering disciplines OR practical experience in live events/operations.
- Individuals with strong communications or technical field experience are encouraged to apply.
- A proactive, hands‑on problem solver with excellent organisation, interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead small teams.
- Comfortable with physical tasks outdoors, including lifting and using stepladders.
