Responsible for shipping and receiving parts, pulling orders, stocking parts, inventory control, and overall warehouse operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsible for shipping and receiving parts, equipment, and supplies.
- Stocks the parts stores with an appropriate amount of merchandise.
- Responsible for inventory control.
- Enters inventory into software system (NetSuite).
- Responsible for cleanliness of warehouse.
- Operates a forklift and hand-truck.
- Practices safe material handling techniques.
- Filing of freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc. for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.
- Responsible for filing freight claims for damaged goods.
- Complete deliveries to stores and customers as needed, in company cargo van.
- Flexibility to work overtime, as required.
- Demonstrate and promote a spirit of cooperation and teamwork throughout the Company.
- Continually look for ways to improve our processes and ability to serve our customers effectively.
- Improve personal performance on a continual basis.
- Provide responsive, professional, and diplomatic customer service.
- Answer customer calls and correspondence quickly and pleasantly.
- Communicate with customers in a friendly, professional, and patient manner.
- Perform all duties with the goal of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
- Immediately address any customer’s concern and request the involvement of other Company personnel as required.
- Follow all company safety programs and report any non-compliance to Parts Warehouse Manager.
- Notify Parts Warehouse Manager, Product & Sourcing Manager, and/or Safety Manager of any unsafe condition.

QUALIFICATIONS- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of one year warehouse experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required, as well as a general familiarity with computers, and the ability to learn new software applications.
- Valid Driver’s License required and Forklift Certification preferred.
- Ability to read and to recognise similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
- Effective communication skills.
- Must possess basic math skills.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
