Role: Compliance Engineer

Contract: Permanent

Location: South East, London

As a Compliance Engineer you will be responsible for;

  • Adopting and applying a health and safety culture responsible for keeping up to date with knowledge and understanding of all relevant compliance and regulatory rules and procedures that relate to Compliance Inspections.
  • Making well informed decisions, and willing to take responsibility.
  • Developing and maintaining good customer relationships.
  • Ensuring all inspections are undertaken to agreed standards, documented and reported in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining personal safety through risk assessments and safety awareness.
  • Working closely and effectively with controllers when planning, in order to organise site inspection activities and work allocation to maximize productivity.
  • Being able to travel effectively within allocated work area and nationally if required.
  • Maintenance of master data accuracy through effective reporting of equipment data.
  • Upholding the image and standards of the Company through personal presentation and company vehicle condition.

As a Compliance Engineer you will demonstrate;

  • Extensive experience in an MHE/MEWPs engineering capacity.
  • Significant customer relationship management skills.
  • Significant knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety legislation relating to LOLER and PUWER.
  • Substantial evidence of commercial awareness.
  • Significant PC skills with experience in MS applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and use of hand-held tablets for report completion.
