The Opportunity: Workshop Heavy Mechanical Engineer
Contract: Permanent
Location: Cannock, Staffordshire
United Plant Services is an engineering and asset management business, renowned for providing market leading engineering support and fleet management for Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) within the quarry and waste industry. We are part of The Briggs Equipment Group who are a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. The Impact You Will Have
- Service and maintenance of Heavy Plant Equipment
- Fault finding, planned preventative maintenance and thorough inspections of equipment
- Adhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by United Plant
- Maintaining a clean and orderly working area including common areas
- Completing job cards and ensuring all required parts to complete tasks are ordered
What Will Help You To Excel In This Role
- Relevant technical qualification NVQ level 3 in Plant maintenance or equivalent
- Previous experience working on Heavy Plant and machinery
- Experience on Liebherr, CAT, Komatsu, Volvo
- Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
- The ability to work independently and under pressure
- The ability to manage and prioritise workload
- Understanding customer needs
- Flexible and committed employee
