We blend cutting-edge technology with the craft of five-star chauffeuring to deliver an experience trusted by more than 100,000 active riders and 1,200 corporate accounts. We're a profitable, fast-growing scale-up with $43M raised and over $100M in annual revenue. Having recently launched in New York City, we're expanding rapidly across the US and EMEA. If you take pride in your craft and want to help shape the next chapter of our growth, we'd love to hear from you.

About The Role

As the Marketplace Operations Lead UK, you will own the economic engine of Wheely's London business. You will balance supply and demand to ensure flawless service reliability for our clients while maximizing utilization and earnings for our chauffeurs. This is a highly analytical, high-impact role where you will design pricing strategies, optimize marketplace liquidity, and build the frameworks that scale our luxury ride-hailing product.

Responsibilities

  • Marketplace Health & Liquidity: Own core marketplace metrics including fulfillment rates, Estimated Times of Arrival (ETAs), chauffeur utilization, and cancellation rates across the market.
  • Pricing & Incentives Strategy: Develop, test, and optimize localized pricing structures, dynamic pricing (surge) algorithms, and chauffeur incentive programs to stabilize the marketplace during peak hours and high-demand events.
  • Product & Algorithm Collaboration: Partner closely with global Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to improve matching algorithms, dispatch logic, and internal operational tooling.

Requirements

We are looking for analytically exceptional, entrepreneurial operators who thrive on ownership and are comfortable solving complex, open-ended problems in real-time operating environments.

  • Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced, highly analytical environment (e.g., Marketplace/Platform Operations at a ride-hailing or logistics scale-up, Management Consulting, Investment Banking, or Tech Corporate Strategy).
  • Technical Analytics: Advanced proficiency in SQL is strictly required. You must be comfortable querying large datasets, building your own dashboards, and conducting independent quantitative analysis.
  • Execution Mindset: Proven track record of moving rapidly from data-driven hypotheses to hands-on execution and operational implementation.

Nice To Have

  • Direct experience working within the marketplace, pricing, or driver operations teams at a major mobility, on-demand, or location-based services platform (e.g., Uber, Lyft, Bolt, Deliveroo).
  • Experience building and scaling operational processes, automated workflows, or analytics frameworks from scratch.

What We Offer

  • Office-based role in West London, four days a week with flexible start and finish times, plus one remote day of your choice.
  • Base salary of £65,000 to £90,000 p.a.
  • Employee stock options plan.
  • Private medical and dental insurance.
  • Life and critical illness cover.
  • Best-in-class equipment.
  • Monthly credit towards Wheely journeys.
  • Cycle to Work scheme.
  • Professional development stipend.
