About the Role
London is Wheely's largest market and our strategic priority: we are doubling down on it. As General Manager, you will own a business approaching $100M in annual gross bookings/revenue, with over 1,200 chauffeurs and four teams reporting to you. You will work directly with our CEO/Founder and executive team: close enough to move fast, with the backing to make decisions that matter. This is a 24/7 operation serving demanding customers. It requires intensity, commitment, and genuine passion for getting things right.
What you will own:
- P&L responsibility for London
- The offline product: pricing, availability and fleet composition
- Four local teams
- Driver Operations
- Quality & Training (our Chauffeur Academy)
- Sales (Wheely for Business)
- Marketing
- Drive business development, identifying and capitalising on new opportunities for expansion and partnerships
- Collaboration with central Product team on the passenger and chauffeur experience
- Regulatory strategy: navigating London's complex licensing environment
- External representation: press, partnerships and key stakeholder engagement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM or Economics from a leading university
- Minimum 7-10 years of total experience, with 5+ years in investment banking, strategy consulting, or high-growth tech
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical / problem solving skills
- Based in Central London

This is an office-based role located in Hammersmith. Wheely has an in-person culture but allows flexible working hours and work from home when needed. In most cases, we expect team members to be in the office at least four days a week.
