Job Description

Based at our depot in Romsey, the successful applicant will be responsible for the vehicle and driver allocations for all contracts and private hire bookings.

Previous experience and a full PCV licence is required.

A working knowledge of Coach Manger software would be an advantage, but not essential as training can be given.

The successful applicant needs to be pro‑active, ensuring the scheduling is done efficiently, along with good communication skills and an outgoing personality.

The successful applicant will join the Operations Team and assist with daily tasks to ensure the operation remains compliant, as well as assisting with the assembling of driver tour packs and other admin.

The applicant will also go onto the 1 in 5 week "on-call" rota to cover out of office emergency calls.

  • Vehicle and driver allocations for all contracts and private hire bookings.
  • Efficient scheduling and proactive management.
  • Ensuring operational compliance and assisting with driver tour packs.
  • Admin tasks and support to the Operations Team.
  • Coverage of the 1 in 5 week "on-call" rota for emergency calls.

Qualifications

  • Cat D driving licence.
  • Driver CPC.
  • Digital Tachograph.
  • Knowledge of PCV Driver Hours Rules & Regulations.
  • Strong team player.
  • Previous experience using Distinctive Systems Coach Manager – desirable.
