Our graduate programme offers a two-year placement in frontline housing, where no day is the same. Right from the start you will be working in a frontline role, delivering services that make a positive impact to our customers’ lives. You will be part of a fast-paced working environment where you'll be trusted and valued for your contributions.
As a housing graduate, you will be working alongside housing officers on all rent and estate management issues and tackling anti-social behaviour in our local communities. You will be delivering excellence in everything you do by supporting customers to access the correct information, services, and advice.
Graduates at Wheatley will benefit from a bespoke training plan, including an accredited housing qualification designed to accelerate your learning and give you a solid foundation of working in housing so that you can build a career that you will be proud of.
We are offering graduate placements across Glasgow. Our hybrid working model balances the flexibility of working from home with the importance of collaborating and learning in local hubs or offices and being visible within our communities.
To be eligible to apply, you must:
- have a 2:1 degree or above in any discipline by September 2026 or have graduated two years prior to 2026;
- be legally entitled to work in the UK on a full-time basis and complete a satisfactory basic disclosure check;
- have a full UK driving licence or commitment to attain one within two years (Wheatley will contribute to driving lessons);
- meet the role requirements within the specific job profile.
We offer a competitive salary and a host of great benefits too, including 41 days’ holiday, inclusive of annual leave and public holidays, a contributory pension scheme, a working from home allowance and exclusive access to special discounts with high street retailers. This is all as well as contributions to driving lessons, gym memberships, optical and dental costs.
Applications will close on Friday 12 June 2026 at 10am and assessment centres will take place early July. It is expected that those successful will start on Monday 14 September 2026.
