About the role
The role has a focus on providing a responsive, high-quality housing service from our Edinburgh hub, supporting customers with enquiries around tenancy management, rent, repairs, neighbourhood issues and access to wider services. You will work closely with housing teams and partner services to resolve customer issues at the first point of contact wherever possible, ensuring accurate advice, clear communication and excellent record keeping. The role will also support effective case management, help identify customers who may need additional support, and contribute to strong performance across customer satisfaction, tenancy sustainment and service standards.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering excellent customer service in a busy environment, with strong communication skills and the ability to deal sensitively and confidently with a wide range of customer enquiries. You will be organised, solutions-focused and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining accurate records and following agreed policies and procedures. A good understanding of housing services, tenancy management, rent collection, repairs and neighbourhood working would be beneficial. You should be confident using digital systems, working collaboratively with colleagues and partners, and demonstrating Wheatley values in every customer interaction.
