Wheatley Solutions is a values-driven organisation that makes a difference to people’s lives. As a Repairs, Investment and Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for the delivery and programming of a varied workload. This may include:

  • Project management of capital investment works
  • Planning and development of local property cyclical maintenance
  • Leading on the delivery of new services and enhancing existing services

You will have day-to-day responsibility for certain key aspects, including:

  • Development & management of cyclical maintenance programs
  • Management, programming and delivery of capital investment projects
  • Identification & management of defects and resolution liaison with internal colleagues / external parties
  • Instruction of works, effective project management including quality assurance
  • General advice and assistance

The role will involve working from home, with travel requirements to group stock and offices when required. This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure check.

Who are we looking for?

The role will be varied and challenging, requiring excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as sound knowledge of the legislative context in which the housing sector operates. You will have excellent technical knowledge and experience of dealing with multiple contractors to deliver an exceptional compliance service to ensure the safety of our homes and customers. You must also demonstrate a flexible approach in meeting changing demands, shaping priorities, influencing senior leaders, and effectively managing your own workload in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
