Our Repairs team, based throughout Dumfries and Galloway, predominantly within the West of the region, delivers servicing, repairs and installation on various types of heating systems for customers in Wheatley Homes South properties.
About the role
We have a great opportunity to join our team as a Heating Engineer. You will be responsible for providing a professional heating service mainly on gas heating systems, but also renewable energy systems, which meets legislative and building regulation compliance. This role will also require assisting with multi-trade tasks as and when required.
Who are we looking for?
We want candidates who take pride in their work and who always strive to go above and beyond for our customers. We are looking for someone who will help us achieve our targets for response times, right first time and customer satisfaction. You must be Gas Safe approved and hold as a minimum CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1. Any relevant renewable energy qualifications and experience would be desirable but not essential. A clean driving licence and basic disclosure check is required, as well as regular participation in the out-of-hours on call rota for Wigtownshire and West Stewartry. Experience of working in social housing and occupied properties is desirable but not essential.
