About the role: Lanarkshire Self Directed Support Services provides person‑centred support to adults aged 16+ living in their own homes across Lanarkshire. We support people with a wide range of needs, including mental health challenges, learning disabilities, autism and neurodivergence, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, substance use issues, and age‑related frailty or memory difficulties. Our staff teams are based in Blantyre, Lanark and Wishaw, enabling us to respond quickly and build strong relationships within local communities.
Who are we looking for? The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar support environment and a sound understanding of the Health and Social Care Standards. They will work in a trauma‑informed, objective and non‑discriminatory way, recognising the impact of trauma and supporting individuals with empathy, dignity and respect. The postholder will demonstrate a strong commitment to working positively with a diverse range of people, supporting individuals to live safe, fulfilling and independent lives.
- Support people to feel safe, respected and supported in their own homes
