Your Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality care and education, who thrives in a nurturing, child-centred environment. You will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development, planning engaging activities, and working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure each child reaches their full potential. What we are looking for:

  • Holds a full and relevant Level 3 (or above) qualification in childcare
  • Achieved GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development
  • Demonstrates a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Confident in implementing safeguarding procedures and maintaining appropriate boundaries
  • Knowledge of keyworker systems, health and safety in a nursery setting, and equal opportunities
  • Effective communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

About our Cluster

Consisting of four schools, within a newly established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Wheatfield Primary School, our cluster includes Windmill Primary School, Floreat Montague Park Primary School and Frogmore Junior School. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues across this cluster, to share expertise and experience, ensuring all children in our schools receive an excellent education and reach their potential. The Details

  • Start Date: September 2026
  • FTE Salary range: GLF Associate 3 £25,001
  • FTE actual salary: £20,910
  • Hours: 8:15am - 3:45pm Monday - Friday (30 mins lunch)
  • 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Closing Date: 5th June 2026 at 9.30am
