I am looking for a NPD Manager for company in the Slough area. Candidate are welcome with strong New Product Development or Introduction experience.
Job Summary:
The NPD Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and introduction of new products from concept to market launch. This role collaborates cross-functionally with marketing, R&D, operations, procurement, quality assurance, and finance teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and successful product launches that align with company strategy and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end new product development process.
- Develop and maintain NPD project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, assess feasibility, and define product specifications.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Work closely with marketing to translate consumer needs into product concepts.
- Coordinate product testing, prototyping, and validation phases.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, quality, and safety standards.
- Oversee product launch readiness, including packaging, supply chain planning, and marketing assets.
- Monitor product performance post-launch and recommend improvements.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field (Masters preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in product development, preferably in manufacturing
