I am looking for a DevOps engineer for an exciting role in London, the company is based close to Farringdon train station. This role has a strong focus on CI/CD principles and on automating infrastructure. This role is fully onsite.

About the Company

This firm builds a connected home beer ecosystem spanning hardware, mobile apps, cloud services, and eCommerce. Their engineering team delivers a reliable, high-quality product at global scale, solving complex challenges across IoT and distributed systems while balancing performance, usability, and real-world constraints. You will gain exposure to 3 key areas: IoT, Mobile App, and Cloud ecosystems. AI-assisted development is embraced to improve productivity, code quality, and product innovation. Engineers are expected to use modern AI tools thoughtfully, stay current with advancements, and apply critical thinking to ensure secure, reliable outcomes. We prioritise practical experience over formal qualifications, seeking candidates with strong technical foundations, proven delivery of production systems, and the ability to communicate clear design decisions and trade-offs.

The Role

Support the infrastructure and delivery pipelines powering company services.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to infrastructure as code - Terraform preferred, although other tools will be fine such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef etc.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines - ideally Docker – but again doesn’t have to be specific. K8 experience would be very beneficial too.
  • Contribute to monitoring and system reliability.

Who we're looking for

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and core infrastructure concepts.
  • Basic experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and containerisation.
  • Hands-on experience working with systems or infrastructure in real-world environments.
  • Understands how systems operate in production and contributes to reliability and deployment improvements.
  • Learns from operational issues and continuously improves system performance.
  • Collaborates effectively with Product and stakeholders to clarify requirements and solve the right problems.
  • Curious about AI and willing to adopt AI-assisted development tools.
  • Able to use AI tools effectively to enhance learning, productivity, and code quality.

What you will get

You will be working in a small team, but part of a much bigger company. You won’t be sat in the corner doing one specific job – not here, you will be taking a large amount of ownership for your work – your voice will be heard and your ideas listened to. If you have a better way to do something – call it out. If you are curious – then apply today and I will call with more details.
