The School of Construction at Hemel Hempstead Campus is looking for a full time Plumbing Lecturer to apply industry knowledge to help our budding plumbers excel within practical and theory environments. This is an exciting opportunity for a plumbing lecturer, or qualified plumber experienced in the industry, to develop a career in an established educational setting and share knowledge and skills with the next generation.
The successful candidate may be teaching and assessing young adults across Level 1 and 2 full‑time programmes, adults on part‑time evening courses and apprentices on day release from employers. Our plumbing courses are delivered by tutors with extensive knowledge and professional expertise of the industry and work closely with employers to develop students and their own skills.
We look for someone with enthusiasm for helping people of all ages and abilities to achieve their potential. Holding teaching, assessing, and gas‑safe qualifications is desirable but not essential; training and the opportunity to qualify whilst working for the College will be provided. You will have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you will be actively encouraged to upskill.
