We are currently recruiting for an experienced Small Works Fire Alarm Engineer to join a well-established and growing fire and life safety company, covering West London and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer looking for stable work, quality projects, and a supportive management team. This role would suit an engineer who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working on well-managed projects within a reputable company.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out small works, modifications, upgrades, and remedial works on fire alarm systems
- Installation and commissioning of small fire alarm projects
- Fault finding and system alterations
- Working on a range of systems including conventional and addressable fire alarms
- Ensuring all work is completed to current BS 5839 standards
- Completing accurate job reports and documentation
- Liaising professionally with clients and site managers
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer, ideally within small works
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
