We are looking for a strong Senior PMO with deep infrastructure delivery experience within the banking or financial services sector. The ideal candidate will be PMP certified, highly organised, commercially aware, and confident managing governance across complex technology programmes.
This role requires excellent stakeholder communication skills and strong experience supporting large-scale project delivery, governance, RAID management, reporting, and budgeting within enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities- Drive PMO governance across infrastructure and technology programmes
- Manage programme reporting, dashboards, RAID logs, and executive updates
- Support project delivery teams to ensure adherence to governance standards and delivery frameworks
- Track programme financials including budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting
- Coordinate steering committees, governance forums, and stakeholder meetings
- Ensure risks, issues, dependencies, and actions are actively managed and escalated where required
- Support portfolio planning, resource tracking, and delivery oversight
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across technology and business teams
- Ensure programme documentation and controls are maintained to a high standard
- PMP certified
- Strong PMO experience within large-scale IT infrastructure programmes
- Banking or financial services experience is essential
- Previous experience working within enterprise environments such as HSBC or similar tier-1 banks preferred
- Strong understanding of project delivery lifecycle and governance frameworks
- Experience managing RAID reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to operate in fast-paced delivery environments
- Experience supporting transformation, migration, cloud, or infrastructure change programmes is highly desirable
- Experience within global banking environments
- Exposure to infrastructure transformation, cloud migration, network, or data centre programmes
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Clarity
- Strong communicator with executive presence
- Proactive and delivery-focused
- Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Comfortable operating within structured governance environments
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
