Locum Consultant Medical or Clinical Oncologist – covering Upper GI & HPB.

Contract Type: Locum

Start date: Monday‑Friday, full or part‑time considered. The post will cover one main site plus breathing‑space sites. Job plan to be discussed with suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver consultant‑level oncology care for UGI and HPB cancer patients.
  • Participate in UGI and HPB MDT meetings.
  • Lead and contribute to treatment planning and decision making.
  • Support junior medical staff and allied healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to audit, research, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in on‑call and cross‑cover arrangements as required.
Qualifications
  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
  • Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
  • Current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or willingness to undergo one.
  • UK Right to Work.
  • Strong communication and team‑working skills.
  • CCT in Oncology.
