7.5 Tonne Multi-Drop Driver Ongoing Position Location: Sheffield

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour

Shifts: Monday to Friday + 1 in 4 Saturdays

About the Role

Recruit A Driver are currently recruiting for experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers for an ongoing multi-drop position based in Sheffield. This role involves delivering chilled, frozen, and ambient products to a variety of customers including parks, seaside parks, corner shops, and convenience stores. Drivers will begin with approximately 6 drops per day during the training period, gradually increasing to around 16 drops once fully trained and confident in the role. This is a physically demanding role involving regular handball and the use of sack carts, so applicants must be comfortable with manual handling work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver chilled, frozen, and ambient products to customer locations
  • Complete multi-drop deliveries across regional routes
  • Safely move products using sack carts
  • Carry out vehicle checks and complete delivery paperwork accurately
  • Maintain professional customer service standards
  • Follow delivery schedules and company procedures

Shift Pattern

  • Monday to Friday
  • 06:00 starts
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays required
  • Saturday shifts are normally shorter routes, however a full 8 hours will still be paid

Requirements

  • Valid UK 7.5 Tonne (C1) Licence
  • Valid CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred
  • Comfortable with manual handling and handball work
  • Reliable, professional, and customer focused
  • Good communication and timekeeping skills
