Key Accountabilities and required skills:
- Technical competence and experience in mechanical engineering demonstrated through Engineering or Scientific Degree.
- Knowledge of ageing/failure mechanisms of high integrity pumps, valves and other reactor system components.
- Experience in relevant mechanical design and safety standards.
- Experience within a highly regulated industry such as nuclear or aerospace.
- Strong awareness of engineering risk, safety, and quality requirements.
- Ability to critically assess complex technical and safety arguments and communicate findings effectively.
- Ability to work effectively across a matrix organisation.
- Ability to communicate with customers and stakeholders both verbally and in written form.
