Location: Huddersfield/ Wakefield/ South Leeds
Must have a full UK Driving License
Shift Patterns: 6 days on, 3 days off. Early shift: 7am- 4pm, or late shift: 11am - 8pm. Shifts are alternated
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a leading provider of point of sale, payment and loyalty solutions in the retail and forecourt markets, is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join them on a contract basis. They design, build, install, and support systems in over 5000 retail sites – processing over 20 billion transactions each year through their data centres.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attending maintenance visits as required, ensuring excellent customer service
- Responding to all calls within the required SLA per call
- Providing accurate and timely call closure and stock reporting
- Attending proactive maintenance, basic installation and joints visits as scheduled by Operations Team
- Completion of all engineering paperwork
REQUIREMENTS:
- Full UK driving license
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Basic technical aptitude
- Ability to work under pressure
- Previous experience in similar role
