Imperial College London is one of the world's leading science-focused universities, committed to making advances in research and education, and lasting contributions to society. Inspirational, multi-cultural, and global in outlook and reach, Imperial has three faculties – Engineering, Medicine and Natural Sciences, and Imperial College Business School. Financially strong, with an annual turnover of circa 970 million, Imperial has an international community of over 17,500 students, 8,000 staff and 185,000 alumni.

We are seeking a new Vice-President for Advancement to lead a dynamic professional team which raises funds for scholarships, academic positions, research centres and capital projects, securing private financial support from those who are committed to our academic mission and building Imperial's global reputation.

Our strategy – Science for Humanity – is bold and ambitious and reflects the purpose of our global community. It goes beyond words to serve as an actionable plan across all areas of our activity, a template for greater impact. To achieve our strategy, we will need to harness the collective power of our community of friends and supporters and be ambitious. A crucial part of this is a significant increase in philanthropic support through Imperial's most ambitious fundraising campaign to date. We have an incredibly powerful story to tell, and a compelling strategy.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about this strategy and will bring a successful track record of building effective, long-term, high-value, philanthropic relationships together with evident fundraising campaign experience.

An executive search exercise is being undertaken by Starfish Search, who will support the College in identifying the widest possible field of qualified candidates and assist in their assessment against the requirements for the role.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 7th June at midnight GMT.
