Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits
An exciting opportunity is available for an Experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, supportive first opinion team across practices in Southport and the surrounding area.
With over 30 years of providing high-quality veterinary care, the practice offers a welcoming environment where vets are supported by experienced colleagues, certificate holders in surgery and ophthalmology, and a highly skilled nursing team.

- £45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
- 4-day working week - 8am to 6:30pm
- No OOH or bank holidays
- Saturday morning rota, currently 1:4 or 2:5
- £1,750 CPD allowance + 5 days CPD leave

The Opportunity
The successful Veterinary Surgeon will provide high-quality first opinion consultations and routine surgery, developing their own client base across two busy practices. The role offers a mixture of working alongside another vet and sole-charge responsibility, making confidence and good communication essential.
An OV qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
The practice is RCVS accredited for nurse training and offers excellent facilities, modern equipment and a strong culture of teamwork, clinical support and professional development.
Located close to the Sefton coastline, Southport and North Liverpool, the area offers an excellent combination of coastal living, countryside and easy access to Liverpool and Manchester.
