The Opportunity

We're looking for a confident and compassionate Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a welcoming, community-focused practice in Newcastle-under-Lyme on a permanent part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive team where clinical excellence, teamwork and wellbeing are genuinely prioritised. You'll enjoy a varied caseload with a balance of consultations and surgery, while working alongside experienced colleagues who encourage collaboration and professional development.

The role also offers the opportunity to develop your mentoring skills. If you're already a Vet GDP Advisor, or would like to become one, full support will be provided to help you mentor new graduate vets joining the practice.

What We're Looking For

  • MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
  • Confident in routine consultations and small animal surgery
  • Comfortable with occasional sole charge responsibilitiesExcellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding patient and client care
  • Keen to continue developing professionally and contribute to a positive team culture

  • Tuesday & Wednesday - 5-hour shifts
  • Friday - 10-hour shift
  • 1 in 11 Saturday mornings (9:00am-12:00pm)
  • No Sundays
