£50,000 - £53,000+ Door-to-Door (Higher for CO₂ & Ammonia Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing and well-established engineering team covering the Sheffield region.

This role will primarily focus on industrial and commercial refrigeration systems, with a strong emphasis on CO₂ refrigeration. Ammonia experience would be highly advantageous but is not essential, as we are keen to speak with engineers who have solid CO₂ knowledge and are looking to further develop their skillset.

The Role

  • Service, maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
  • Working on CO₂ refrigeration plant across a variety of customer sites
  • Fault finding, diagnostics and reactive breakdown attendance
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Participation in the on-call rota (currently 1 in 4, expected to improve as the team grows)
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

Requirements

  • Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience
  • Strong CO₂ refrigeration knowledge and experience
  • Valid F-Gas qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ammonia experience and/or qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential

Package

  • £50,000 - £53,000 (based on experience)
  • Higher salaries available for engineers with both CO₂ and ammonia experience
  • 40-hour week
  • Door-to-door pay £225 standby payment per week Overtime
  • Private Medical Insurance
