JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a proven National Account Manager with a track record of sales growth with major strategic accounts. You will be responsible for increasing customer spend, driving adoption of new products and services, protecting existing revenues and securing high-value commercial opportunities through a value-based selling approach. This is a commercially focussed growth role centred on creating opportunities, influencing customer strategy, delivering compelling value propositions and securing business outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the companies most strategic accounts
- Deliver profitable revenue and margin growth aligned to the Annual Plan and Long Range plan objectives
- Identify, qualify and secure new opportunities within the accounts
- Lead customer discussions focused on value creation, productivity improvement and risk reduction
- Drive the introduction and adoption of new products, services and technologies
- Work closely with Marketing, Product Management and Commercial teams to accelerate market adoption of new solutions
- Structure agreements that deliver value for the customers and client
- Personally lead the closure of strategic and high-value opportunities
- Act as the commercial lead for the major accounts and coordinate internal resources to support growth objectives
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- A proven track record of success in Account Management, Business Development or Commercial Sales
- Experience of managing strategic customer relationships and complex stakeholder groups
- Any knowledge of Service Contracts, Capex or new product launch would be of particular interest
- Strong negotiation and closing capability
- Strategic thinker with strong business and financial acumen
- Collaborative and capable of leading cross-functional initiatives
