Gen Tech Recruitment are currently recruiting for Solar Roofers / Installers to join a growing and well-established team based in Lisburn. This is a great opportunity to build a career within the renewable energy sector, working on a variety of residential and commercial projects. Immediate start available.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

The Role

  • Install solar panels on roofs and structures in line with project specifications
  • Carry out mechanical assembly of solar systems
  • Assist with connecting solar panels to electrical components
  • Test and troubleshoot systems to ensure correct operation
  • Work collaboratively with team members to complete installations
  • Follow all health & safety regulations on site
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience in solar roofing or similar role
  • Pitched roofing experience (essential)
  • Experience working with slate and concrete tile
  • Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • CSR and PASMA card (or willingness to complete training)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
