Reward: £36,500 – £62,000 p.a according to experience (We have a graded reward package to suit new entrants to the renewables industry through to the most experienced Wind Turbine Technicians). Working hours – New Technician (37hrs) to Service Technician Level 3 (40hrs). The awesome extras! 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays Industry Leading Pension & Life Insurance 5% Bonus On-call allowance Overtime x 1.5 Overnight allowance Senior Authorised Person allowance Shared works vehicle for travel to and from site What you’ll do: Be a Multi-Skilled Authorised Technician under the EDFR Wind Turbine Safety Rules working on one or more Wind Turbine Variants. Opportunity to become a High Voltage Single Feed Senior Authorised Person under EDFR E&M Safety Rules. Undertake Major Component (Gearbox, Generator, Transformer etc) Replacements. Complex fault finding and repair on Electrical, Hydraulic and Convertor Systems both remotely and at the Wind Turbine. Complete Scheduled Maintenance to high standards and take pride of the assets that you maintain. Complete internal & external technical and safety training to develop your skills. Similar experience, preferably having worked as a Wind Turbine Technician. Physically fit, safety-focused, and love hands-on work. Capable of working at height (within and outside the turbine) and in exposed and remote locations. Enthusiastic about green energy. What skills do you need? You’ll be a skilled engineer with great Electrical and/or Mechanical maintenance experience. Preferably having worked on Wind Turbines previously. We can train you to multi-skill.
