Position: Trade Engineer Plumber (Multi-Skilled)

Salary: £39,289 per annum

Location: 4040 Lakeside Birmingham, working across Coventry, Birmingham and Worcester

Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday - Thursday 8 - 4, Friday 8 - 3:30)

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a skilled and versatile Trade Engineer Plumber (Multi-Skilled) to join our team. This position is primarily based in Coventry, with travel to Birmingham and Worcester as required.
  • This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified plumber who can:
    • Undertake a range of trade tasks to complement the fulfilment of primary trade activities
    • Carry out all works in line with applicable recognised regulations
    • Provide on site support to trade engineers in the fulfilment of their duties, when required

Qualifications and experience:

  • Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (essential)
  • Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (desirable)
  • CSCS Card holder (or equivalent) preferred
  • Full UK driving license and able to drive manual vehicles
  • Sound knowledge of plumbing systems and associated trade skills
  • Proven experience working within the social housing sector, delivering maintenance and building services in both void and occupied properties
  • Demonstrable understanding of health and safety legislation, best practice, and procedures, with the ability to provide examples of maintaining compliance within a repairs and/or maintenance environment
